The role emphasizes data analysis, trajectory optimization, and software development to enable mission design. The candidate should be proficient with numerical methods and capable of independent, collaborative work with NASA and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Master of Science degree with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ph D. with 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support mission design and trajectory optimization for SR-1 Freedom.
• Perform data analysis and synthesis to support the mission design team.
• Develop software to extend functionality when packages lack required features.
• Collaborate with NASA team and industry partners to ensure feasibility.
