Job summary
GE Aerospace is seeking a Metrology Technician for the BladeworX facility in Springdale to learn and grow in dimensional inspection and measurement science within a fast-paced NPI environment. You will operate and program inspection equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams under senior guidance.
The role emphasizes hands-on development, data integrity, and continuous improvement, with training provided for CMM programming and related measurement tools.
Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional measurement concepts.
- Familiarity with CMM operations or programming is a plus (training provided).
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new software.
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate, program, and maintain inspection equipment under guidance.
- Assist with calibration and calibration records ensuring traceability.
- Support creation and revision of inspection programs for turbine airfoil parts.
- Document inspection results and program changes per quality standards.
- Collaborate with machining, engineering, and quality teams to support NPI part qualification.
