Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Metrology Technician to join the turbine airfoils NPI team at the BladeworX facility. You will learn to operate and program inspection equipment and grow into a more independent contributor under the Senior Metrologist.

Qualifications

  • Foundational understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional measurement concepts.
  • Familiarity with CMM operations or programming is a plus (training provided).
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new software.

Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated Metrology Technician to join our turbine airfoils machining NPI team at the BladeworX facility. Reporting to the Site Quality Leader and taking day-to-day technical direction from our Senior Metrologist, you will learn to operate and program our inspection equipment and grow into an increasingly independent contributor. This is a hands-on, development-oriented role for someone eager to build deep technical expertise in dimensional inspection and measurement science within a fast-paced New Product Introduction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or a high school diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution
