Job summary

Canopy Aerospace & Defense is seeking a 2nd Shift Metrology Inspector in Ontario, CA. The successful candidate will perform advanced inspections of aerospace hardware during production and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards. You must have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in mechanical inspection and GD&T interpretation.

This full-time position offers a salary ranging from $25 to $33 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan participation, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aerospace or precision manufacturing inspection experience.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret aerospace blueprints.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of components.
• Conduct first article inspections in compliance with AS9102.
• Identify and document nonconformances.
