Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• 3+ years of metallurgy, materials engineering, metallurgical testing, or aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Experience with NADCAP-accredited laboratory environment and aerospace alloys.

Responsibilities

• Oversee metallurgical testing activities to support customer requirements, process control, product qualification, and first article inspections.
• Review metallurgical test results for compliance with customer specifications and internal requirements.
• Interpret material specifications and customer requirements related to metallurgical testing and product acceptance.
• Provide metallurgical expertise related to forging processes, heat treatment, material properties, and product quality.
• Supervise laboratory personnel and ensure testing is performed to maintain accreditations and approvals.
