Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical & Metallurgical Laboratory Technician for the 2nd shift in Carson, CA. The position supports mechanical and metallurgical testing, inspection, and documentation within a laboratory environment.

The role requires hands-on tensile and fatigue testing experience, reading blueprints and specifications, and maintaining strict test traceability. Overtime is required, with a contract through December 15, 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical/metallurgical laboratory testing.
• Hands-on tensile and fatigue testing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, procedures, drawings, and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical testing for product acceptance and qualification (tensile, fatigue, torque, vibration, etc.).
• Maintain accurate product and test traceability throughout laboratory activities.
• Use precision measuring tools and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Prepare inspection and testing documentation and laboratory reports.
• Conduct complex testing using laboratory test systems and procedures.
• Support quality and inspection activities ensuring proper documentation.
