Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years designing mechanisms for spacecraft, missiles, or air platforms.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and testing flight-critical mechanical assemblies such as actuators and deployment/separation devices.
• Proficiency in kinematic, stress, and thermal analysis for aerospace applications.
• CAD modeling experience; Siemens NX preferred; familiarity with GD&T (ANSI Y14.5).
• Must be able to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams; lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hardware development from concept through manufacturing, environmental testing, and flight qualification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanisms into vehicle architectures within mass/power/interface constraints.
• Utilize CAD modeling and analyses to validate mechanism performance in aerospace environments.
