Job summary

X-Bow Launch Systems, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Luling, TX to support propellant manufacturing system development and operation. You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for installation, commissioning and deployment of hardware and control subsystems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical and fluidic systems, familiarity with SolidWorks CAD and PDM, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and meet ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience with installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical and fluidic systems.
Experience scoping pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, ovens, and precision flow meters.
Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD and PDM or equivalent.
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams of ~5 engineers/technicians.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; compliance with ITAR as a US Person.

Responsibilities

Support propellant manufacturing system development and operation.
Participate in verification, upgrades, anomaly resolution, design, analysis, testing and deployment of hardware and control subsystems.
Identify blockers and guide processes to address performance shortfalls.
Meet installation, commissioning and deployment schedules for components and sub-assemblies.
