Rocket Lab in Virginia is seeking a Mechanical Technician II to support fabrication, assembly, and installation of Neutron launch vehicle subsystems with a focus on fluids and mechanical integration. You will work with a small team to meet tight launch schedules and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in aerospace or related industries, plus hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and large-structure assembly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in aerospace, industrial, or relevant environment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and/or fluid components.
• Experience assembling large structures and mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate mechanical subsystems for test and launch sites related to fluids systems.
• Lead daily activities for 3–5 technicians to meet integration schedules.
• Assist with launch pad operations and ensure work meets quality standards.
