Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Technician II to support Neutron launch facilities, leading technicians and ensuring reliable assembly and testing of launch pad systems. You will work closely with manufacturing/integration teams across locations, delivering on tight schedules and high quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in aerospace/industrial settings, and hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fluid components.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years aerospace/industrial experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics or fluid components.
• Experience assembling large structures and mechanisms.
• Proficient use of hand, power and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate mechanical subsystems for Neutron launch operations.
• Lead daily activities for 3–5 technicians to meet integration schedules.
• Contribute to launch pad workflow and best practices.
• Ensure tasks meet quality standards and are completed on time.
• Support other operations during launch campaigns.
• Assemble, install, and test launch pad systems and fluids hardware.
