Job summary

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections of finished parts, review process documentation (MIL/AMS), witness anodising and coating steps, and complete inspection reports with photos. Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and experience using digital inspection reporting tools are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in aerospace special process source inspections.
• Ability to interpret MIL, AMS standards and customer specifications.
• Knowledge of material certifications, process validation documents, and traceability practices.
• Background in Quality or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong attention to detail and communication, with experience using digital inspection reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• On-site verification of special process operations.
• Visual and dimensional inspection of finished parts per drawings and specs.
• Verification of process documentation (certifications, oven charts, reports) for compliance.
• Witnessing and reviewing anodising and paint/coating steps as required.
• Completion of inspection checklists and submission of inspection reports with photos.
• Liaison with supplier personnel and communication with customers for issue resolution.
