Job summary

Cimarron and Watring are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the aerospace industry by producing components that support critical programs.

100% onsite position with a security clearance requirement. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Competitive pay range based on experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizens eligible due to security clearance requirements.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
• 1+ years of related mechanical design experience.
• Experience with aerospace hardware documentation and drawings.
• SolidWorks proficiency and hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design and analysis in support of aerospace hardware and systems.
• Create, review and interpret engineering documentation, drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 in designs.
• Support prototype assembly and evaluation of new hardware.
• Participate in instrumentation design, integration and implementation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure producibility and quality.
