Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related mechanical engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
• Experience with mechanical design in aerospace is preferred.
• Experience creating and interpreting engineering documentation including drawings and test procedures.
• Proficiency in GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Hands-on experience with designs and manufacturing processes.

Cimarron and Watring are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the aerospace industry by producing components that support critical programs!

Watring is a subsidiary of Cimarron. Watring Technologies, Inc. is a Huntsville, Alabama, technology-based design and manufacturing company specializing in custom hardware and turnkey solutions. Key Duties

• Perform mechanical design and analysis in support of aerospace hardware and systems.
• Create, review, and interpret engineering documentation, including drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
• Support the assembly and assessment of prototypes for new hardware.
• Participate in instrumentation design, integration, and implementation.
