Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Elyria, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I-IV to lead proposals and projects within a cross-functional team. You will oversee scope, costs and schedules, ensure customer satisfaction, and deliver compliant engineering solutions.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, strong CAD/FEA skills (Ansys, Creo), and willingness to travel for technical interchange meetings and reviews. Opportunities for growth across levels I–IV are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead project and technical activities within cross-functional teams to meet cost, schedule and performance targets.
• Create and review drawings, documentation and technical reports for proposals and programs.
• Support MRB decisions and non-conforming hardware disposition.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
