Job summary

ClearBridge Technology Group in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking 2 Mechanical Engineers for an initial 12-month, on-site contract to support a funded product redesign effort. You will evaluate the current design, define updated requirements, develop mechanical solutions, create and revise models and drawings, and support hardware through production, integration, and testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience designing or testing mechanical components and assemblies.
• Proficient with 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite at Indianapolis facility.

Responsibilities

• Support redesign of existing mechanical product or system.
• Develop mechanical design solutions and update requirements.
• Create/update models and drawings; support hardware through production and testing.
• Collaborate with Systems, Electrical, Test, Manufacturing, and Production Engineering.
• Assist with prototypes, design reviews, integration, or qualification testing.
