Applicants should have a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience, GD&T, and CAD tool proficiency (Creo/Windchill). DoD Secret clearance is required, and collaboration with suppliers and cross‑functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• GD&T knowledge, basic tolerance analyses, and drawing interpretation for hardware.
• Experience using CAD tools and standard drawing practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to conceptualize, design, analyze, integrate, and test hardware.
• Contribute to design peer reviews and perform trade studies for decisions.
• Work independently as the responsible mechanical hardware engineer.
• Oversee supplier activities and resolve non-conforming hardware.
• Support hardware assembly, build processes, and fit checks.
• Maintain budgets and schedules for timely delivery.
