Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required
• 4+ years mechanical design experience
• Experience with SolidWorks Simulation

Responsibilities

• Design new and existing high-altitude balloons, stratocraft, launch equipment, and subsystems.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Design teams to develop products.
• Reviews design specifications and project requirements.
• Evaluates performance issues through troubleshooting and failure investigation.
• Creates detailed design schematics through the use of design software.
• Field testing flight hardware with assistance from the operations team
