Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join the Omen Team. You will own mechanical design across subsystems, drive concepts to production, and work with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust flight‑systems integration.

The role emphasizes hands‑on fabrication, design verification, and rapid development cycles within a lean, ownership‑driven culture. A U.S. security clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in mechanical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on fabrication skills demonstrated.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software, NX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the mechanical design of a new air vehicle, from concept to low-rate production.
• Lead requirements definition, propose solutions, and establish verification methodology for mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and mechanical teams to ensure integrated system performance.
• Conduct design reviews, perform analyses, visit vendors, prototype and implement hardware test plans.
• Contribute to tooling, templates, processes, and standards.
• Foster a positive, energetic team culture and strong collaboration.
