Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, validate, and sustain pressure and temperature sensing products for aerospace applications. You will interface with customers, engineers, and production to ensure manufacturing readiness and design maturity.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of aerospace design experience, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and familiarity with AS9100 and RTCA DO-160/MIL-STD‑810/461.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering is required.
• MS in engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of mechanical design engineering experience in aerospace or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop pressure and temperature sensors from concept to production release.
• Perform material selection, strength and fatigue analysis, FEA, and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on electromechanical interfaces and thermal considerations.
• Prepare design records, documentation, and technical deliverables.
• Support PPAP, APQP, and continuous improvement activities.
• Review requirements and create compliance matrices for traceability.
