Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, validate, and sustain pressure and temperature sensing products for aerospace applications. You will interface with customers, engineers, and production to ensure manufacturing readiness and design maturity.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of aerospace design experience, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and familiarity with AS9100 and RTCA DO-160/MIL-STD‑810/461.
Mechanical Design Engineer
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, validating, and sustaining pressure and temperature sensing products for aerospace applications. Designs will require knowledge of electromechanical systems, material properties, design for manufacturing, static and dynamic analysis, and testing methods. The ideal candidate has sensor design experience, understands aerospace and AS9100 requirements, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The candidate will be expected to prepare documentation and presentations while interfacing with customers, engineers, drafters, supply chain, quality, management, and production personnel. This position will typically be reported to a supervisor or manager.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Work may involve exposure to moderate noise levels, pressurized systems, temperature‑controlled environments, and other typical laboratory conditions.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Visual acuity is required to read instruments, data displays, and engineering drawings accurately.
