Advanced Technologies, Inc. (ATI) is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design aerospace structures, create 3D components and assemblies, and provide detailed drawings and specifications to facilitate fabrication.

You will perform hand calculations and preliminary sizing, run tolerance stack-ups, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to take a design from concept through fabrication, testing, and delivery, using SolidWorks, Rhino, and KeyCreator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 0–3 years designing metallic and/or composite assemblies/components using advanced 3D modeling tools.
• Knowledge of simple mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic actuation mechanisms.

Responsabilités

• Design aerospace-related structures and 3D components/assemblies.
• Provide detailed drawings and specifications for fabrication.
• Perform hand-calculations and preliminary sizing of structural components.
• Conduct tolerance stack-up analyses to ensure fit and function.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to take designs from concept through fabrication, testing, and delivery.
• Prepare and present design reviews to customers and stakeholders.
