Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to develop complex aerospace components and generate 3D CAD models and 2D drawings. You will use Siemens NX and Teamcenter, support design reviews, and ensure milestone compliance while collaborating with project managers and analytical teams.

Based in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, the role begins onsite for 90 days and then transitions to a 3/2 hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design using CAD software.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5M).
• Knowledge of drawing interpretation.
• Strong mechanical inclination and problem-solving aptitude.
• Effective communication (oral & written).

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design engineering: develop components for aerospace systems.
• 3D/2D CAD design using NX/CATIA; create and edit drawings.
• Support design reviews for internal and external audiences.
• Ensure milestone compliance and drive process improvements.
