Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking a hardworking Mechanical Engineer to join the CPS Team. You will support design, manufacture, procurement, and test for structure subcomponents and assemblies, coordinating with customers, suppliers, test facilities and other disciplines. The role emphasizes collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering to ensure mission-ready space hardware.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals including structures, or mechanisms, and/or materials.
• Proficiency in industry standard CAD (Creo, Catia, AutoCad or similar) software.
• US citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist on the conceptual development, requirements definition, and design of propulsion components.
• Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical analyses necessary to support systems and components.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, test facilities, and other related disciplines including manufacturing, subcontracts, quality, structure design, analysis, systems engineering, and integration.
