Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO seeks an experienced Electronic and Electrical Systems Design and Test Engineer to own or lead the design and test of aircraft electronic/electrical systems across fighters, trainers, unmanned systems and weapon systems.

You will translate customer requirements into architectures, define verification strategies and work across the technology development life cycle from requirements to test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical) or non-US equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, qualifying electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements with customers.
• Translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specs.
• Test and validate system designs to meet operational and functional requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance for system integration and compliance.
• Provide support for fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle.
• Lead or contribute to program independent reviews and technology investigations.
