Job summary

Prince Industries Inc. is seeking an entry-level Assembly Technician I in Massachusetts to perform mechanical assembly of enclosures, chassis, and box builds from engineering drawings and BOMs.

You will closely follow customer specifications, install precise components, and verify alignment with calibrated tools, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and documenting builds per procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of experience in high-complexity mechanical assembly in aerospace/defense/high-tech environments preferred.
• Experience in ISO/ AS9102-certified environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly of enclosures, chassis, and box builds from drawings and work instructions.
• Interpret customer blueprints, BOMs, and written/verbal instructions.
• Install components (Helicoils, dowel pins, thermal pads, bushings) with calibrated tools under strict controls.
• Ensure alignment and fit using measuring tools and inspection methods; collaborate with QA/engineering to resolve build issues.
• Follow torque specs and assembly sequences; record build documentation and traveler paperwork.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and adhere to 5S standards; promote continuous improvement.
