Job summary

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler I for the Foley, Alabama OEM facility to support A320 NEO aircraft components. You will assemble equipment per engineering specs, follow safety standards, and maintain organized workstations on-site.

The role requires HS diploma or equivalent, ability to read drawings, and hands-on experience with basic tools. Lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for long periods are expected. Onsite first shift, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or GED) or vocational/technical education.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
• Experience with hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• Self-directed & action oriented with the ability to work in a team environment to resolve most questions and problems.
• Relevant manufacturing, assembly and/or construction / facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment and products according to engineering specifications.
• Perform work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
• Perform quality checks and record defects.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Lift and carry up to 20 pounds; stand up to 8 hours.
