RTX in Richardson, TX seeks a motivated student to join our aerospace team as an internship/co‑op. You will learn MBSE practices, support the design and testing of advanced communications systems for military platforms, and work closely with engineers in an agile setting.

Mentorship will guide you through Collins Aerospace processes and security protocols. Successful candidates are pursuing a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree, have at least 60 hours completed, and show a proactive,

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Must have minimum of 60 hours of credit by start of internship/co‑op.
• Experience in systems engineering: capturing requirements and tracing system requirements.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and tools (MBSE).
• Experience in Agile environments with integrated teams across SW/HW/Cyber/Sys.
• Experience can be gained via on‑the‑job, coursework or projects.

Responsabilités

• Support development and delivery of advanced communication solutions for customer missions.
• Perform in a cross‑functional agile team with mentors and Collins Aerospace processes.
• Create, decompose, and trace requirements for military communications systems.
• Work with MBSE tools to craft logical and physical design diagrams.
• Perform integration and testing for communications solutions.
• Assist with future bids and proposals to identify new business opportunities.
