Job summary

Premier Aerospace Group NY, LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and program Mazak 5-axis mills, reading complex blueprints and setting up machines from specifications. You will dial in feeds and speeds and verify parts with precision metrology tools.

Qualifications

5–7 years hands-on experience with Mazak CNC 5-axis mills
Proven skill in CNC programming and setup from prints and specifications
Fluency with Mazatrol and G-code; Mastercam experience a plus
Excellent blueprint/spec reading and tolerance control
Experience machining diverse materials and using precision metrology tools
Strong documentation habits and teamwork mindset

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain Mazak CNC 5-axis mills to produce high-quality parts.
Program and set up CNC machines from blueprints and specs using Mazatrol and G-code.
Read complex prints, plan sequencing and tooling.
Hold tight tolerances across materials by optimizing feeds, speeds, and tooling.
Use micrometers and bore gauges to verify conformance.
Document setups and results with precision and care.
Contribute to a fast-paced team through productivity, data collection, and collaboration.
