Job summary

Amca in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Materials Coordinator responsible for receiving, inspecting, and moving aerospace materials through the shop. You will verify shipments, review certifications, and maintain accurate ERP/MRP logs to ensure build readiness.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration with supply chain and production teams in a fast-paced environment onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Sharp attention to detail and high accuracy in measurements.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, and conditions against purchase orders and packing documentation.
• Inspect parts against drawings and quality requirements.
• Review certifications and traceability documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify, tag, and quarantine nonconforming material and initiate NCR/MRB process.
• Log receipts in ERP/MRP with correct part numbers, lots, serials, and dates.
• Communicate discrepancies to supply chain and production teams promptly.
• Maintain organized receiving records and inspection logs.
