Job summary

Votaw Precision Technologies, LLC is seeking a Material Readiness Coordinator to support production in a precision machining environment for aerospace and defense hardware. You will ensure materials, tooling, and documentation are ready for machine setup and production, coordinating across Production Control, Tooling, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

Experience using ERP/MRP in manufacturing.
Strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain it preferred.
Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review production schedules to ensure materials, tooling, and documentation are available.
Kit and stage materials, tooling, and documentation for upcoming operations.
Coordinate with CNC machinists and supervisors to prep jobs for startup and production.
Verify that work orders include travelers, drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
Monitor workflow to identify shortages or bottlenecks and address them.
Expedite movement of parts and materials between departments.
Maintain tooling inventories and support setup resources.
Support early-stage development and production programs requiring expedited processing.
