Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense (EBAD) seeks an inventory professional to support shipment receipt, distribution, and cycle counting. You will drive accurate accounting for supplier inventory and collaborate with Operations to maintain Kanbans and kitting programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• AAS in Business or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience in Aerospace and Defense preferred; ideally in a material management organization.
• Experience using ERP systems to move and ship materials.
• Inventory transactions, storage and cycle count experience required.
• Knowledge of hazardous material shipping and handling is desirable.
• DOT CFR-49 and IATA certification is a plus.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel).
• Energetic and positive; able to work independently; entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily shipment receipt and distribution process.
• Leads problem resolution to ensure accurate, timely accounting for incoming supplier inventory.
• Support the weekly Cycle Count process.
• Run, distribute, manage count sheets, and reconcile weekly reports.
• Lead corrective action process and report results weekly.
• Work with Operations teams to create and maintain Kanban systems and manage kitting programs.
• Assist with dispositions of excess project inventory and close-out activities.
• Participate in reconciliation, disposal and accounting for Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory.
• Support Customer Furnished Property (CFP) program and supplier inventory process.
