Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Logistics/Materials Handler at our Grand Prairie site to support material fulfillment, receiving, put-away, and shipping activities critical to aerospace manufacturing and maintenance. You will use SAP ERP to manage material demand and ensure accurate inventory, while following lean practices to minimize waste and maintain quality.

The role requires at least 1 year in aerospace, warehouse, or distribution operations, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or high school diploma from an accredited school.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Aerospace, Warehouse, Logistics and/or Distribution Operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the material fulfillment function including managing critical material reviews with external vendors and the GE MRO network.
• Work to quickly resolve issues to support the OWS site with urgency.
• Put away and pull materials in alignment with production plan and KPIs.
• Ensure parts are stored to prevent damage and contamination.
• Practice lean inventory management to keep site levels lean yet operations supported.
