Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX business, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for onsite operations in Lenexa, KS. You will accurately pick aerospace parts, verify orders, and use WMS/ERP systems to track inventory and order status.

Responsibilities include safe material handling, visual inspections, coordinating with packaging and shipping, and adhering to AS9100/FAA guidelines. The role requires attention to detail and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with 1+ year related experience.
• Aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read sales orders, part numbers, and product specifications.
• Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick aerospace parts from inventory locations based on sales order specifications and pick lists.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions against order requirements to prevent errors.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems to track inventory and order status (SAP experience preferred).
• Operate material handling equipment safely to retrieve and move materials.
• Conduct visual inspections of components for damage or defects during picking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe picking area.
• Collaborate with packaging and shipping to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Adhere to safety policies and AS9100/FAA regulations.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as needed.
• May assist with packing or labeling when required.
