Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is hiring a Material Handler I to support inventory control, kitting, and shipping/receiving operations. You will operate equipment, identify parts, follow procedures, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role emphasizes precision, safety, and teamwork to ensure efficient material flow. The position requires a HS diploma or GED or technical training, with opportunities for career growth within Collins Aerospace' logistics team

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory control and material handling preferred.
• Familiarity with using computer systems for inventory transactions and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling and packaging equipment.
• Identify parts and materials using markings and labels.
• Follow work instructions and BOMs to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform cycle counts and record results.
• Record inventory transactions and labor charging in computer systems.
• Package and ship materials according to instructions.
• Maintain storage, shelving, and organization per procedures.
• Train other employees on procedures as needed.
