Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a STEM field.
• Willing to work around explosives.
• Knowledge of material science or chemistry.
• Experience with analytical methods.
• Ability to obtain/maintain ATF access.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and update technical specifications for materials and chemicals used in manufacturing processes.
• Perform material analyses including failure analysis and specification definitions.
• Create/modify manufacturing documents and drawings to support internal/contractual requirements.
• Participate in part design brainstorming and modify design or processes to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Support continuous improvement to improve project execution.
