Leading Edge Manufacturing, LLC in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an experienced Materials Engineer / Metallurgical Engineer to support aerospace manufacturing operations. The role requires knowledge of special processes and precision manufacturing environments, with a focus on process development and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has aerospace manufacturing experience and a BS in a relevant engineering field, with familiarity with NADCAP/AS9100 environments.

Formación

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Experience with NADCAP and AS9100 environments is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions
• Quote new and repeat aerospace components and assemblies
• Support production related to heat treating, brazing, and welding
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
