Job summary

Spirit Defense, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Material Review Engineer to support MRB functions in aerospace production environments. The role emphasizes decisive dispositioning of non-conformances on structural components, systems, and assemblies, with a focus on root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualified candidates have a BS in Engineering (ABET-accredited), 2+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited University.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Represent MRB in Aerospace production or preproduction environments.
  • Exercise independent disposition authority for non-conformances on aircraft components.
  • Investigate root causes and recommend design/disposition changes.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to meet engineering and manufacturing goals.
  • This position is for 2nd shift.
