Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems in Kansas seeks a Material Review Engineer to join its MRB team. You will assess production nonconformances and document dispositions under FAA and OEM requirements for aircraft components.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, cross-functional project leadership, and implementing producibility improvements across machined and sheet metal parts, weldments, composites and assemblies. An ABET-accredited engineering degree and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or related field.

Responsibilities

• Represent MRB in Aerospace production/preproduction environments.
• Dispositions for production nonconformances under FAA/OEM requirements.
• Investigate root causes and propose design/disposition resolutions.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to improve producibility.
• Document dispositions and maintain traceability of MRB decisions.
