Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Program Manager for a Tucson, AZ program to lead materials management, drive material demand in SAP/PRISM, and manage supplier performance. You will oversee budgets, forecasts, and risk management while coordinating with production, procurement, and finance teams.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent with 3–5 years of supply chain experience, strong ERP skills, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience in a related field, with 3–5 years of experience or an advanced degree with 3 years.
• Supply chain experience required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, PRISM, Kinaxis or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive Purchase Requisition generation and PO management with Production Control, Purchasing, and Finance.
• Work effectively in SAP/PRISM to drive material demand.
• Generate material-related forms such as Sole Source Justification and SSOW.
• Support material budgets, EACs, and forecasting for programs.
• Report status and communicate issues to internal and external customers, proposing corrective actions.
• Drive on-time material deliveries with potentially aggressive schedules.
• Support make/buy/where decisions as needed.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and flag larger concerns to leadership.
• Travel up to 25% domestically.
