Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Material Handler for our launch site at Cape Canaveral, FL. You will ensure engineers and technicians have materials, stage inventory, and move parts between worksites to support mission-critical projects.

The role requires forklift experience, 2+ years in relevant environments, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aerospace setting with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, construction, or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Interface with engineering/technician teams to alleviate material bottlenecks in the field.
• Maintain clean and organized delivery areas.
• Pick up and deliver materials to multiple worksites across Cape Canaveral and surrounding areas.
• Stage/transport materials for work orders.
• Operate material handling equipment and maintain operator qualifications.
• Expedite parts to meet estimated completion dates.
• Utilize the factory scheduler to manage, prioritize, and complete inventory requests from work orders.
• Manage outgoing materials and finished goods to ensure on-time delivery.
