Job summary

SpaceX, based at Cape Canaveral, FL, is seeking a Material Handler to support our launch operations. You will work with engineering and technician teams to stage materials for mission-critical projects and ensure timely delivery to multiple worksites.

The role requires forklift experience, high school diploma, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will maintain organized delivery areas, assist with inventories, and help keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience operating a forklift and/or other material-handling vehicles.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, construction, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Interface with engineering/technician teams to alleviate material bottlenecks.
• Maintain clean and organized delivery areas.
• Pick up and deliver materials to multiple worksites across Cape Canaveral and surrounding areas.
• Stage/transport materials for work orders.
• Operate material handling equipment and maintain operator qualifications.
• Construct delivery locations as needed and dispose of trash and scrap materials.
• Expedite parts to meet estimated completion dates.
• Manage inventory requests from work orders using the scheduler.
• Ensure on-time delivery of finished goods.
