Job summary

SpaceX seeks an Inventory Control Clerk at its Rocket Development Facility in Texas to ensure incoming materials are received, stored, and issued correctly. The role supports technicians and engineers to maintain project momentum.

The position requires forklift experience, material handling discipline, and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, ASME Y14.5 drawings, GD&T, and metrology tools. HS diploma and 1+ year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large manufacturing facility.
• 2+ years of forklift operations experience.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and functions.
• Experience with ASME Y14.5, GD&T and metrology tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and issue parts and hardware for site operations.
• Store parts in bins and identify storage locations.
• Prepare kits and ensure parts are available and accounted for.
• Maintain material handling practices and rotate stock.
• Record transactions in the MRP/ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts and housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Support site goals, metrics, and objectives.
• Operate or assist forklift as needed.
• Route items to appropriate departments and communicate with internal customers.
