Job summary

SpaceX in Canandaigua, NY is seeking a Material Handler to support Starlink/Akoustis production by moving and expediting parts, ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time for smooth operations in a cleanroom.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, work with receiving, quality control, purchasing, and other departments to resolve material issues, and follow safety and ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of expediting/material handling experience.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Support production with movement of parts to support master schedule.
• Physically move and expedite materials to meet work order dates.
• Verify materials are packaged/banded for transport; assist loading/unloading of trucks.
• Interface with receiving, quality control, purchasing to resolve material issues.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts.
