Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Material Handler at our Auburn, CA/Vian Enterprises site to receive, move, stock and ship production parts and materials. This role supports on-time delivery by ensuring the right items are available when needed and by maintaining accurate inventory in a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in manufacturing, strong reading of work orders and detailed instructions, and solid math and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Warehousing and materials knowledge; lean principles.
• Ability to read work instructions and perform basic calculations.
• US Persons may be required for ITAR access.

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, store, count, track, issue, and ship production parts and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory and follow established work instructions.
• Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production cells.
• Perform cycle counts and escalate variances as needed.
• Respond to unplanned issues with internal customers in a timely manner.
• Assist coworkers to complete daily tasks and adapt to changes.
• Ensure compliance with export controls and company policies.
