Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA, is seeking a Material Handler I/II to support production by receiving, moving, counting, storing and shipping parts and materials to meet on-time delivery goals.

The role requires 3–6 years of manufacturing experience, knowledge of lean principles, and proficiency with MS Office. You will perform cycle counts, stock materials, and issue to production cells while collaborating with supervisors and buyers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and lean principles.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and solve routine problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory by following instructions and processes.
• Perform cycle counts and escalate variances when needed.
• Move materials between receiving, production and shipping areas.
• Unpack, receive, and stock materials; pack and ship per contract requirements.
• Issue materials to production cells and respond to unplanned issues with internal customers.
