Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA, is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver and continuously update manufacturing training programs. You will develop, maintain, and evaluate curriculums, and closely collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing and Human Resources to address training needs and resources.

The role requires at least 2 years of training experience in a manufacturing setting, knowledge of Lean principles, and Convergence proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years’ experience training in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge: Training coordination, scheduling and delivery; Lean manufacturing processes and principles; Convergence experience preferred.
• Skills/Abilities: Able to operate machines and communicate with clients; strong color/vision capabilities and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum based on needs assessment and new technology or products.
• Schedule classes and assign students according to requirements.
• Provide training using internal resources or external providers as needed.
• Assess training effectiveness and implement improvements; audit operator conformance to specs.
• Maintain training materials, curriculums, rosters and records.
• Identify training needs in collaboration with operations and HR.
• Maintain training system and tools (Convergence).
• Perform any other task assigned by supervisor or management.
