Job summary

MACRO Industries, Inc. in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform hands-on production activities to create high-quality composite materials in accordance with specifications, drawings, and work instructions.

The successful candidate will read engineered drawings, set up and operate machinery and cutting tools, measure and inspect materials, and help with packaging, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and understand engineered drawings.
• Proficiency using templates and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand company engineered drawings.
• Set up and operate production machinery, cutting equipment, saws and precision measuring tools.
• Prepare and ensure materials are used and handled appropriately.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials with precision.
• Ensure finished product meets quality standards and specifications.
• Keep track of supply inventory.
• Assist with packaging and labeling finished products as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in continuous improvement activities to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
• Provide assistance to other team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
