Ideal candidates have a mechanical background, PPE discipline, and the ability to work independently or in a team. This on-site position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across production shifts.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with hand tools and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read engineered drawings.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

Responsabilidades

• Read and understand engineered drawings.
• Set up, recalibrate, operate production equipment.
• Cut, shape and prepare tile materials with precision.
• Ensure materials are used and handled safely.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
• Perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will assist in daily production activities and cut, shape and prepare high precision tile materials ensuring desired quality of work is safely achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand company engineered drawings
• Sets up, recalibrates, operates production equipment and prepares materials for production
• Sets up and operates cutting equipment, saws and precision measuring tools
• Ensures materials are used and handled appropriately
• Measures, marks, and cuts materials with precision
• Ensures finished product meets quality standards and specifications
• Keeps track of supply inventory
• Maintains clean and safe work area
• Performs routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance ensuring cutting tools and machinery are in safe working condition
• Assists in continuous improvement activities to enhance process efficiency and product quality
• Assist other team members as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Excellent mechanical background
• Proficient at the use of templates
• Ability to operate multiple types of hand tools and precision measuring tools
• Demonstrated ability to use a tile cutting saw
• Ability to work well independently and with a team
• Ability to wear required PPE
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day
