Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician for our Machining Center of Excellence in Cincinnati, OH. This hands-on role focuses on preparing, cleaning, testing, and inspecting additive and machined metal parts both before and after machining operations.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, quality-focused, and eager to grow technical skills in a high-precision aerospace environment. First shift: 6am-3pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, machining, aerospace, or hands-on technical roles.
• Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow instructions and quality requirements.
• Familiarity with MES systems and common software tools (MS Office, Smartsheets).
• Strong attention to cleanliness, FOD control, and process discipline.
• U.S. Citizenship required (ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance).

Responsibilities

• Perform waxing, dewaxing, cleaning, and surface preparation of metal parts pre- and post-machining.
• Conduct pressure and flow testing of parts to verify integrity and performance.
• Perform thorough FOD inspections and cleaning of parts before and after machining.
• Support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of additive and conventional metal parts as needed.
• Operate and maintain post-processing and cleaning equipment, hand tools, and fixtures.
• Follow detailed work instructions, quality control procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Communicate tool, fixture, and consumable needs to support continuous operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area with FOD-free standards.
• Accurately document work performed and report any non-conformances.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
