Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong machining background to support production operations through process development, continuous improvement, and technical problem solving. Aerospace manufacturing experience is strongly preferred and the role is located at the Cincinnati, Ohio facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a machining environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve machining processes for new and existing products.
• Provide hands-on support to production to resolve machining, tooling, and process issues.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process sheets, and standard work documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) including fixture design, tooling selection, and process validation.
• Optimize CNC programs, feeds, speeds, and tooling to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Work with Quality to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operators to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
• Support capital equipment selection, justification, installation, and validation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including aerospace quality standards when applicable.
